When you join the founding waitlist, we collect:

1. Your name
2. Your email address
3. Company type and primary hiring need (companies, optional)
4. Country and primary skill (contractors, optional)

We do not collect payment information, identity documents, or any data beyond what is listed above during the waitlist phase.

We use the data you provide for the following purposes:

1. To add you to the founding waitlist and segment you as a company or contractor
2. To send you updates about RemoteFromEU launch and early access
3. To understand the composition of our waitlist for planning purposes

We process your personal data based on your consent, given when you voluntarily submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing from our emails or contacting us directly.

For analytics, we use PostHog in cookieless mode. No personal data is collected through analytics, and no consent is required for this processing as no cookies or identifiers are set.

We share your data with the following third-party processors, solely for the purposes described above:

1. MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania) - email list management and waitlist sequences
2. Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., US) - DNS, CDN, and bot protection via Turnstile
3. Vercel (Vercel, Inc., US) - website hosting
4. PostHog (PostHog, Inc., EU instance) - cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics

We retain your waitlist data for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, your data is removed from our active mailing list. MailerLite may retain anonymized or aggregated data in accordance with their own retention policy.

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

1. Right of access - request a copy of the data we hold about you
2. Right to rectification - request correction of inaccurate data
3. Right to erasure - request deletion of your data
4. Right to restrict processing - request that we limit how we use your data
5. Right to data portability - request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

Some of our processors (Cloudflare, Vercel) are based in the United States. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the processors maintain appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. PostHog and MailerLite process data within the EU.
